The memorable street food paradise - Taipei ~ Day 5

Now here we have our activity for day 5. We had dim sum and soy bean breakfast at Yung Ho Restaurant at Ximending (永和豆漿 西門町).

Next we head towards the presidential office building Taipei (總統府) for a visit. Remember, it is important to pre-book in advance and bring along your passport. The security is quite strict there and we can only take photos at a particular spot.

Not long after, we had steamboat lunch, buffet style at Mala Restaurant( 馬辣頂級麻辣鴛鴦鍋) at
Ximending. The food was great and we had free flow of meats (different types of beef and bacon), Haagen Daaz ice cream, beer, desserts, etc... Do order lots of meat in advance so you dont have to wait to refill the meat. The food was great , the only shortcoming is the 2 hour time frame.

Next, we visited the chiang kai-shek memorial hall(中正纪念堂and took nice selfies~

After that, we visited Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall (Taipei) 國立國父紀念館we managed to take nice photos of the Taipei 101 night view.

With some spare time, we headed to have a cup of coffee at Stay Real Cafe by Gabee. The food and dessert are good but do take note of a minimum order.

For dinner, we hang out at Shida night market (師大夜市)while meeting my other local friend. The Polo bun and the special delicacy (luwei-滷味) that involves stewing your chosen vegetables, meat or noodles in special herbal soup.

Although it is quite late, the night is still young for us and many others visiting Eslite bookstore(誠品書店.)  Some of the branches opens 24 hours.

The impressive dessert given by my friend -pudding in cute egg shells from Chirle Brown makes us feel like paradise after a day of long walk.
